Who we are

oathen.gg is the website for Oathen, made by Seeking Heroes, LLC.

The short version

This site doesn’t track you. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no forms, and we don’t set cookies.

What our web host keeps

Like almost every website, our host keeps standard server logs to keep the site secure and running. These record things like your IP address, your browser type, the pages you request and when. We don’t use them to track or profile anyone.

Fonts and files

Everything on this site, fonts included, is served from oathen.gg itself. Loading our pages doesn’t contact Google Fonts or any other third-party service, except the videos below.

Videos

Some pages (What is Oathen and How to Play) embed YouTube videos in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Opening those pages connects your browser to YouTube to show the player. Once you press play, Google’s privacy policy applies.

Your audio setting

If you switch the site’s ambient audio on or off, your browser remembers that choice in its own local storage, on your device. It is never sent to us, and you can clear it any time in your browser settings.

Other sites we link to

play.oathen.gg, our Discord, our social channels and BoardGameGeek each have their own privacy policies. This page covers oathen.gg only.

If this changes

If we ever add analytics, accounts or forms, we’ll update this page before we turn them on.
